Terms of Use

These terms apply to Seed & Spell (Palavras no Jardim in Portuguese), developed by Example Studio ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the game you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

1. Your license to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. If you downloaded the game from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. If these terms conflict with those rules on a point that the store requires, the store's rules win on that point.

2. Price

Version 1.0 is free and has no ads and no in-app purchases. If a future version adds optional features with a cost, the price will be shown by the App Store or Google Play before you pay, and these terms will be updated.

3. Coins, seeds and other game items

Coins, seeds, plants, plots and other items in the game are part of the game only. They have no money value, cannot be sold, exchanged or transferred, and cannot be turned into real money or prizes. Because your progress is saved only on your device, it can be lost if you delete the game or lose your device, and we cannot restore it.

4. Fair use

• Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the game, except where the law allows it.
• Do not use the game to break the law or to harm others.
• The name you choose appears on pictures you share. Please do not use names that are offensive, hateful or that impersonate someone else. The game blocks some words, but you are responsible for what you share.

5. Content and trademarks

The game, its art, music, texts and puzzles belong to Example Studio or are used under license. The word lists, dictionaries and fonts used by the game are credited, with their licenses, in Settings > Credits and licenses. Seed & Spell and Palavras no Jardim are names used by Example Studio.

6. Puzzles and words

Levels are built from public word lists in each language. We do our best to leave out offensive or wrong words, but a word may occasionally be missing, unusual or not accepted. If you find one, tell us at support@example.com.

7. Updates and availability

We may update the game to fix problems or add features, and some updates may be needed to keep playing. We may also stop offering the game. We will try to give notice in the app store listing when that happens.

8. No warranty and limit of liability

The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of game progress. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country, which cannot be waived.

9. Privacy

How the game handles data is explained in the Privacy Policy. In short: the game does not collect personal data.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when the game changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.
